Cong. Lev Vinefesh is a religious and charitable community organization.
We help individuals and families overcome challenges, discover their strengths, and build more positive futures.

Our experience is primarily within the Brooklyn community.
Helping the Whole Person
We believe every person deserves to be heard, understood, and supported.
Sometimes an academic problem is about much more than academics.
A struggling child may need someone to listen.
A teenager may need help rebuilding confidence and developing positive routines.
A parent may need guidance in dealing with a difficult family situation.
A family facing instability may need help finding opportunities and resources.
We look beyond the immediate problem to understand the whole person.

What We Do

Youth Mentoring

We provide individualized mentoring and encouragement for children and young adults.
We help them build confidence, develop positive habits, and recognize their potential.

Academic Support

We provide tutoring and educational mentoring.
We also work on motivation, organization, study habits, goal-setting, and confidence.

Family Support

We help parents and families navigate difficult situations.
We listen to their concerns and provide practical guidance and support.

Life Skills

We help individuals develop practical skills for everyday life.
These include communication, organization, responsibility, decision-making, and problem-solving.

Youth Enrichment

We provide positive after-school activities for children.
Programs may include music, art, woodworking, and other creative activities.

Community Assistance

We help individuals and families connect with employment opportunities and community resources.
We also provide an annual Passover program that helps families obtain essential holiday products at affordable prices.

We begin by listening.
We try to understand what is preventing the individual or family from moving forward.
Then we determine what kind of support may be helpful.
Sometimes that means tutoring.
Sometimes it means mentoring.
Sometimes parents need guidance.
Sometimes someone needs help finding an opportunity.
When needs extend beyond our services, we help guide people toward appropriate community resources or qualified professionals.
